Stomana Industry S.A. will increase steel production, said Anton Petrov, the Bulgarian representative of the Greek Viohalco Group which is a majority shareholder in the enterprise. The company has applied to the Ministry of Environment and Water for a new integrated permit that would make it possible to add 400,000 tons to the current annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons of steel.
