Brazilian CSN seeks further expansion possibilities

After having reached an agreement to take over 50% stake in Lusosider, the galvanized sheet and tin plate plant, located in Portugal, from Arcelor and hence becoming partners with Corus in a joint venture last week; Brazilian steelmaker CSN decided to seek further opportunities in expanding in Europe and North America. What the company exactly plans for near future remains unclarified for the time being, however the industry reports reveal that it is evaluating to take strategic steps in further possible joint ventures.
