Brazilian civil construction activity in July rose to 44.3 points from 42.3 points in July 2016, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, according to the country’s confederation of industries, CNI.
Brazilian civil construction activity also improved when compared to the month prior, increasing from 42.8 points in June.
The utilization of the industry’s capacity in July declined to 56 percent from 57 percent in the same month of the year prior, but rose from 55 percent in June this year.
The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the segment grew to 42.6 points in July this year, from 39.7 points in July 2016, and from 41.8 points in June this year.
