Brazilian automotive production declines again in October

Automotive production (cars, trucks and buses) in Brazil reached 199,800 units in October, 4.4 percent less than in September and 3.1 percent less than in October 2022.

Domestic sales reached 217,800 units in October, 10.2 percent more than in September and 20.4 percent more than in October 2022.

Exports in September reached 31,300 units, 14.0 percent more than in September and 26.9 percent less than in October 2022.

During the first 10 months of the year, automotive production in Brazil has reached 1.951 million units, a 0.6 percent decline on yearly basis, while domestic sales increased by 9.7 percent to 1.848 million units and exports declined by 12.8 percent to 354,200 units.
