Brazilian auto sales and production decrease in 2014

Brazilian auto sales fell 7.1 percent in 2014, year-on-year, according to Brazil’s automaker association (Anfavea). According to the trade group, sales of cars in 2014 reached 3.4 million units.

The production of cars also decreased in the period to 3.1 million units, down 15.3 percent year-over-year, and 23.1 percent month-on-month in December 2014, during which Brazil produced 203,760 automobiles.
