Bohai Steel Group’s crude steel ouput totals 19.14 million mt in 2013

Tianjin-based Chinese steel producer Tiantie Metallurgical Group Co. has announced that, according to preliminary figures, in 2013 its subsidiary Bohai Iron and Steel Group Co. (Bohai Steel Group) produced 19.14 million mt of crude steel, 18.71 million mt of pig iron, 21.02 million mt of finished steel and 900,000 mt of metal products, up 10.47 percent, 14.20 percent, 9.60 percent and 20.73 percent respectively, all year on year. Also according to preliminary results, in 2013 Bohai Steel Group's industrial output value totaled RMB 212.2 billion ($34.8 billion), while its consolidated operating revenues amounted to RMB 210 billion ($34.4 billion), with a net profit of RMB 1 billion ($163.9 million).
 
As for 2014, Bohai Steel Group is targeting consolidated operating revenues of RMB 250 billion ($41 billion), as well as a five percent increase in net profit compared to the previous year.
