BMZ to launch new long steel mill in December 2014

Belarus-based Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) has stated that it plans to launch its new long steel rolling mill in December 2014. The mill will produce steel bars with diameters of 20-85 mm and rebar in coils with diameters of 6-14 mm.
 
The construction of the mill started in May this year. The primary annual output capacity is 750,000 mt, to be increased up to 1 million mt during next three years.
