BHP Billiton in talks with SAIL

Australian mining giant BHP Billiton is reportedly in talks with Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) regarding a mining project in Indonesia. SAIL expressed its interest in mining activities in Indonesia, and started negotiations with BHP Billiton in an effort to participate in the mining activities in the country. "We are also willing to partner with SAIL in Indonesian mines. But ideal arrangement has to be made for us to initiate the process," a BHP Billiton official said.
