Benxi Steel’s long steel sales rise by 9.3 percent in April

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Group (Benxi Steel) has announced that in April this year its long steel sales reached 1.34 million mt, up 9.29 percent year on year.

Since it merged with Liaoning-based Chinese steelmaker Beitai Iron and Steel, Benxi Steel has expanded its product range to include drawing quality wire rods. In addition, Benxi Steel's rebar products have been widely applied in magnetic levitation train projects in China and in the North-South Viaduct project in Shanghai.
