Benxi Steel steps up HRC output at 2,300 mm continuous hot rolling mill

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Co. (Benxi Steel) has announced that its 2,300 mm continuous hot rolling mill now has the capacity to produce 5.15 million mt of hot rolled coils (HRC) per year.
 
The 2,300 mm continuous hot rolling mill was commissioned in 2008 and its total production has reached 10.53 million mt since it started its production operations. In May this year, its output exceeded 400,000 mt in a single month for the first time
