Belarus ups ferrous metal output

Belarus Statistics and Analysis Ministry disclosed that the country's ferrous metal output rose 9 percent year on year in the first eleven months of 2005. Belarus' crude steel production rose 7.7 percent year on year to 1.91 million metric tons in the first eleven months of the year. Furthermore, finished steel production grew 10 percent year on year to 1.76 million metric tons. On the other hand, steel pipe production fell 6.9 percent year on year to 97,300 metric tons during the same period.
