Baosteel Singapore’s annual finished steel exports exceed 1 million mt

Singapore-based company Baosteel Singapore Pte Ltd (Baosteel Singapore), a subsidiary of major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel, has announced that its finished steel export volume by contract amounted to 1.005 million mt as of November 16, while its export volume is expected to exceed 1.05 million mt in the whole of the current year, up about 40 percent year on year, marking the first time Baosteel Singapore’s annual finished steel export volume has exceeded 1 million mt since the company was established in 1997. In addition, Baosteel Singapore is expected to become the main overseas sales channel for Baosteel's Zhanjiang steel production base.
