Baosteel No. 4 NGO silicon steel unit exceeds production target

As of August 28, Baosteel's No. 4 non-grain oriented (NGO) silicon steel unit produced a total of over 20,000 mt of eligible NGO silicon steel during the month in question, thereby exceeding its monthly production target.

Baosteel's No. 4 NGO silicon steel unit is not only one of the main constituent parts of Baosteel's cold rolled silicon steel production, but also a key production unit for high-grade NGO silicon steel. The unit had successfully completed hot run tests on April 30. Subsequent difficulties with the surface quality of high grade products were overcome, with the unit finally reaching its production target in August.
