Baosteel and Shanxi Coking Coal Group discuss further cooperation

On July 19, Bai Peizhong, board chairman of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, headed a delegation from the company during a visit to major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel. Baosteel's board chairman Xu Lejiang and its deputy manager Dai Zhihao met the visiting group.

Mr. Bai presented the production situation and future plans of Shanxi Coking Coal Group, expressing hopes for further cooperation with Baosteel. In his turn, Xu Lejiang presented the strategic plans of Baosteel, and stated that Baosteel expects to face the market challenges together with Shanxi Coking Coal Group, in order to achieve a win-win situation for both.
 
Shanxi Coking Coal Group is one of China's largest coking coal producers. The company's coking coal output is expected to reach 100 million mt in 2010, with its sales volume expected to exceed RMB 100 billion.
