Baosteel achieves steel export contract sales of 2.6 million mt in 2010

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has announced that its total contract sales of steel products for export in 2010 reached the volume of 2.6 million mt.

Baosteel Group commented that, despite the aftereffects of the global crisis, it has succeeding in increasing its exports while also strengthening domestic sales. In 2010, the group raised the share of exports in its total sales to 10.9 percent, thus accomplishing its export target for the year.

He Wenbo, general manager of Baosteel Group, stated that the company will continue to forward its products and services to the international market, while expressing his anticipation of further positive development in 2011.
