Baogang’s crude steel output up 15.52 percent in H1

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) has announced that in the January-June period this year it produced 5.8957 million mt of pig iron, 5.7888 million mt of crude steel and 5.5145 million mt of finished steel, increasing by 21.59 percent, 15.52 percent and 18.73 percent year on year, respectively.
