Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baogang Group has announced that in the first 10 months of the current year its comprehensive energy consumption per metric ton of steel produced was down by 12 kg of standard coal year on year to a total of 698 kg of standard coal.
In the first half of this year, Baogang's comprehensive energy consumption per metric ton of steel produced had decreased by 13 kg year on year to 705 kg of standard coal.
