Baogang Group targets sales revenue of RMB 60 billion in 2012

According to Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group), in the first 11 months of 2011 the sales revenue of the company reached RMB 54.214 billion ($8.61 billion).

Baogang Group general manager Li Chunlong stated that in 2012 the group will strive to achieve sales revenue of RMB 60 billion ($9.52 billion), while it plans to increase its iron output to 10.45 million mt, its crude steel output to 10.9 million mt and its finished steel output to 10.34 million mt. 

As of December 27, Baogang Group had achieved its 2011 crude steel output target of 10.10 million mt.
