Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) has announced that so far in the current year it has supplied finished steel to various key projects, including 27,000 mt of hot rolled steel plate for a wind power project in Damao county in Baotou, 2,400 mt of hot rolled steel plate for a thermoelectricity project in Inner Mongolia, and 18,000 mt of anti-seismic reinforcement rebar for the railway from Hohhot to Zhangjiakou.
According to Baogang, it has supplied more than 200,000 mt of finished steel to various key projects since the beginning of this year.
