Baogang increases sales of wide and heavy steel plates in 2011

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that in 2011 it increased its focus on sales of wide and heavy steel plates, adjusting its product structure in line with market requirements.

Accordingly, in 2011 Baogang Group's sales of wide and heavy plate accounted for 90 percent of its total sales of finished steel products, up 16 percent year on year.
