Baogang Group’s crude steel output rises by 6.71% in July

On August 6, Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) announced that in July this year its outputs of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel amounted to 845,200 mt, 895,400 mt and 872,200 mt, up 4.49 percent, 6.71 percent and 10.2 percent year on year, respectively.

As previously announced by Baogang Group, in the January-June period of the current year the company's outputs of pig iron, crude steel and finished steel respectively totaled 4.8138 million mt, 5.0708 million mt and 4.821 million mt, all exceeding the targeted outputs for the period.
