Baogang Group earns almost $600 million from steel exports in Jan-Nov

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that in the January-November period of the current year its steel export volume reached 801,700 mt, up 9.09 percent year on year, while its earnings from the exports in question reached $599 million, up $146.76 million year on year. 
 
In the first 11 months of the current year, Baogang Group's exports of galvanized steel coil and full hard cold rolled steel coil respectively amounted to 231,500 mt and 75,000 mt, both indicating increases compared with the same time of last year. In the current year up to the end of November, the semi-finished and finished steel products of Baogang Group have been exported to 27 countries and regions, with 56.04 percent of the total export volume going to South Korea.
