Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down 3.2 percent in late June

In late June (June 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were recorded at RMB 2,141.4/mt ($345.4/mt), RMB 2,244.4/mt ($362/mt), RMB 2,243.5/mt ($361.9), RMB 2,382.6/mt ($384.3/mt), RMB 3,312.2/mt ($534.2/mt) and RMB 2,576.9/mt ($415.6/mt), down RMB 70.3/mt ($11.3/mt), RMB 56.6/mt ($9.1/mt), RMB 81.2/mt ($13.1/mt), RMB 56.3/mt ($9.1/mt), RMB 55.1/mt ($8.9/mt) and RMB 46/mt ($7.4/mt), decreasing by 3.2 percent, 2.5 percent, 3.5 percent, 2.3 percent, 1.6 percent and 1.8 percent compared to prices in mid June (June 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on July 6.
