In late June (June 21-30) this year, the average prices in
China of 16-25 mm HRB 400
rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300
wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium
plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were recorded at RMB 2,213.7/mt ($332.4/mt), RMB 2,360.1/mt ($354.4/mt), RMB 2,437.2/mt ($365.9/mt), RMB 2,613.3/mt ($392.4/mt), RMB 2,847.9/mt ($427.6/mt) and RMB 2,488.2/mt ($373.6/mt), rising by RMB 9.4/mt ($1.4/mt) and RMB 2.0/mt ($0.3/mt) and down RMB 11.6/mt ($1.7/mt), RMB 28.3/mt ($4.2/mt), RMB 48.1/mt ($7.3/mt) and RMB 4.7/mt ($0.7/mt), increasing by 0.4 percent and 0.1 percent, while decreasing by 0.5 percent, 1.1 percent, 1.7 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, all compared to prices in mid-June (June 11-20) this year, as announced by
China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
