Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has found that hollow structural sections imports from Thailand were dumped and that the dumped exports caused material injury to local producers. The commission said that continued dumping may cause further material injury to the Australian industry.

The dumping margins range from 5.7 percent to 29.7 percent for Thai-based producers and exporters.

Australia had imposed preliminary antidumping duty for the abovementioned products in March this year, with duty rates ranging between 12.4 percent and 30.6 percent.

The products in question currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7306.30.00, 7306.50.00, 7306.61.00 and 7306.69.00.
