The Anti-Dumping Commission of the Australian government has announced that it has reviewed the preliminary antidumping (AD) duties imposed in May on quenched and tempered steel plate imports from Finland, Japan and Sweden.

The revised provisional securities now range between 9.6 percent and 26.1 percent, compared to the previous rates ranging from 18 percent to 39.8 percent.

The Australian government decided to launch an antidumping duty investigation in January this year regarding quenched and tempered steel plate imports from the abovementioned countries.

The product subject to the antidumping duty investigation currently falls under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Number 7225.40.00.
