The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (Customs Protection) has completed its inquiry into whether to continue imposing antidumping (AD) measures on galvanized steel pipe exported from Thailand, an official notice said on January 27.

Accordingly, the Australian Minister for Home Affairs has accepted Customs Protection's recommendations, declaring that he has decided not to take steps to secure the continuation of AD measures currently applying to galvanized steel pipe exported to Australia from Thailand. The measures will expire on February 17, 2010.

The notice was published in local newspaper The Australian and in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on January 27, 2010.
