Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced the preliminary results of its antidumping duty investigation regarding hot rolled structural steel section imports from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

The Commission has found preliminary dumping margins ranging between 0.7 percent and 23.7 percent and has decided to impose securities on the imports in question at the rate specified above. The investigation was launched in October 2013 following an application by domestic steel producer OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd.

The final decision is expected to be announced on or before June 26, 2014.
