Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has decided to terminate its antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding hot rolled plate imports from South Korea and Taiwan.

The commission has found that the goods imported from South Korea-based steelmakers Hyundai Iron & Steel Co Ltd and POSCO Steel and by Taiwanese producers Shang Chen Steel and China Steel Corporation were not dumped, with the total volume of dumped hot rolled plate steel from Taiwan being negligible.

Australia had initiated the antidumping duty investigation against hot rolled plate imports from South Korea and Taiwan on March 31 this year following an application lodged by BlueScope Steel Limited.
