ATZ increases steel pipe production in January-October

In October this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 17,000 mt of steel pipes. In the January-October period of the current year, the mill increased its steel pipe output by 9.4 percent compared to the same period of 2010, reaching 159,000 mt.
In October this year, ATZ shipped 17,000 mt of steel pipes. In January-October, ATZ increased its shipments of steel pipes by 4.2 percent year on year to 155,500 mt.
