Armenian steelmaker orders new bar mill for Charentsavan location

Austria-based plantmaker Siemens VAI Metals Technologies has announced that it has received an order from Armenian steelmaker ASCE Group to supply a new bar mill for its Charentsavan location.
 
With a designed annual capacity of 125,000 mt of structural steel, the new bar mill will be the first rolling mill in Armenia. The rolling mill in question will produce rebars in a diameter range of 8-32 mm.
 
The mill is scheduled to start operation in early 2013.
