Argentinian industrial production declines 7.3 percent in September

Argentinian industrial production in September diminished 7.3 percent, year-on-year, according to figures released by the nation’s statistics agency, Indec.
 
As for the accumulated period of January to September, the country’s industrial output fell 4.6 percent, year-on-year.
 
Industrial output at the automotive segment declined 22.5 percent in September, year-on-year, and 13.8 percent in the January-September period, also on a year-on-year basis.
 
According to a Indec’s qualitative survey, which measured the expectancies of the nation’s industrial companies for Q4 on a year-on-year basis, 51.7 percent expect a stable pace for domestic demand in the period, while 27.2 percent foresee a decrease and 21.1 percent expect an increase in domestic demand.
 
Out of the interviewed exporting companies, 55.1 percent anticipate a stable Q4 for exports on a year-on-year analysis.
 
However, 24.6 percent expect an increase and 20.3 percent a decline in the industry’s exports in the same period.
