Argentinian crude steel output declines 0.1 percent in June

Argentinian crude steel output in June declined 0.1 percent, year-on-year, reaching 372,200 mt, the country's steel chamber, CAA, said on Friday.

According to CAA, crude steel production fell 5.6 percent in a month-on-month analysis from 394,100 mt in May this year. As for H1 results, crude steel production improved 3.2 percent, year-on-year, to 2.1 million mt.

Argentinian hot rolled finished steel production in June increased 17.9 percent, year-on- year, but dropped 3.7 percent, month-on-month, to 398,600 mt. Hot rolled finished steel output in H1 was 2.2 million mt, 8.4 percent up, year-on-year.

Argentinian cold rolled flat steel output in June was 103,500 mt, 2.7 percent down, year-on- year, and 4.3 percent down, month-on-month. H1 cold rolled flat steel production diminished 12.4 percent, year-on-year, to 626,800 mt.
