Argentina's crude steel output jumps in Feb

Argentina's Steel Industry Chamber (CIS) has disclosed that the country's crude steel production in February increased by 23.7 percent to 415,600 metric tons as compared to 335,900 metric tons recorded in January. However, the country's crude steel production in February indicates a fall of 6.8 percent as compared to the corresponding period of previous year. Hot rolled steel output increased 28.4 percent month on month to 399,300 metric tons in February, while cold rolled steel output decreased 11.3 percent to 123,000 metric tons from 138,700 metric tons recorded in January.
