Argentina’s automotive production increases in June

Argentina produced 53,522 units (cars and light commercial vehicles) in June, 0.5 percent more than in May and 10.6 percent More than in June 2022.

Exports declined from May to June by 23.1 percent to 23,291 units, representing however an 8.6 percent increase from June 2022.

Domestic sales reached 44,138 units in June, 14.3 percent more than in May and 18.5 percent more than in June 2022.

During the first six months of 2023, Argentina’s production of vehicles increased on yearly basis by 21.4 percent to 295,777 units.

Under the same comparative basis, exports increased by 8.6 percent to 152,044 units, while domestic sales increased by 14.1 percent to 206,861 units.
