Argentina's auto output down 17.6 percent in January-April

In April this year, Argentina's auto production (including commercial vehicles) decreased by 10.89 percent compared to March and was down 21.2 percent year on year, amounting to 46,618 units, according to the report released by the country's auto association (ADEFA). Meanwhile, in the first four months of this year, Argentina's auto production totaled 170,164 units, down 17.6 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.
 
In April, Argentina's auto exports totaled 21,232 units, down 25.7 percent month on month and decreasing by 34.6 percent year on year. In the first four months, the country's auto exports decreased by 23.58 percent year on year to 81,634 units.
