Arcelor’s unit to buy Heller und Köster

Arcelor Stahlhandel Holding GmbH, Luxembourg-based steel giant Arcelor's German unit, announced plans to buy Nordwest Handel AG unit Heller und Köster Stahl und Industriebedarf GmbH & Co KG's steel operations on August 1, 2005. Arcelor Stahlhandel yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with Heller und Köster to buy the operations. The transaction price has not been announced.
