ArcelorMittal workers back to work in Georgetown

ArcelorMittal's Georgetown mill which has been idle since December 5 due to lack of orders, is to restart production operations on Tuesday, January 13.


A spokesperson for ArcelorMittal, many employees would  return on Monday for safety and on-the-job training. One company source put the number of employees returning to work at 27.

When the plant reopens, it will run three shifts to fill the orders the company has received during idle period.
