The Fos-sur-Mer plant will supply the coils for construction of the decks. These will be processed into sheets in Saint-Nazaire shipyard by ArcelorMittal's unit, Distribution Solutions France. The ArcelorMittal Asturias plant in Gijón, Spain will produce the steel plates for construction of the hulls. The first deliveries will start in January 2015.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, in 2013 ArcelorMittal Europe also supplied over 40,000 mt of steel plates and coils to STX France for the construction of the world's biggest cruise ship.
