The Ukrainian steelmaker ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, an affiliate of steel giant ArcelorMittal, has recommissioned its open hearth furnace (OHF) No. 4, which was shut down at the end of September 2008 due to the decreased demand for steel products.

In addition, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has stopped its twin-bath steelmaking unit No. 6 for scheduled repair works, which include the upgrading of the unit's main equipment.
