Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will revamp the plate mill of global steel giant ArcelorMittal’s subsidiary Industeel France located in Le Creusot, France.

The aim of the project is to meet increasing market demand for high-quality surfaces in rolled products. With the revamping of the plate mill, the quality of the rolled products will be improved and the operational cost will be reduced by a maintenance-free design concept, while water and energy consumption will also be reduced.

Danieli also stated that it has recently completed the revamping of a stainless steel slab caster of Industeel located in Charleroi, Belgium.
