Arcelor to acquire Huta Lucchini
Luxembourg-based steel giant Arcelor announced that it would finalize the acquisition of rail and stainless steel producer Huta Lucchini Steel Mill, located in Warsaw, Poland, once the company received a go-ahead from the regulatory authorities. The transaction price has not been disclosed yet. If everything proceeds as planned, Arcelor intends to construct a rolling mill in Warsaw. Arcelor CEO Guy Dolle said that the proposed rolling mill mainly will produce steel bars for the construction sector.Arcelor to acquire Huta Lucchini
