Arcelor plans to expand in India

Luxembourg-based steel mill Arcelor is planning to expand in India, notably by teaming up with auto part manufacturer JBM group. Arcelor is in discussion with car component manufacturer JBM group to complete this partnership with the aim of establishing a car welding plant together in Delhi or Puna. Arcelor spokesman said “With its abundant natural resources, India is a strategic priority for Arcelor.” Arcelor, the world’s second largest steel producer, is already working with Indian conglomerate Tata to produce cars.
