Anyang Steel’s net profit declines by 45.2 percent in 2014

On March 30, Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Co. (Anyang Steel) issued its financial results for 2014, announcing an operating revenue of RMB 26.852 billion ($4.32 billion), up 2.73 percent year on year, and a net profit of RMB 28.5297 million ($4.59 million), down 45.19 percent year on year.

In 2014, Anyang Steel produced 8.44 million mt of pig iron, 8.49 million mt of crude steel and 8.41 million mt of finished steel.

As for 2015, Anyang Steel plans to produce 9.2 million mt of pig iron, 9.14 million mt of crude steel and 8.86 million mt of finished steel, while it is targeting a sales revenue of RMB 30 billion ($4.8 billion).
