Anyang Steel’s H1 net profit rises by 25.8 percent

According to the H1 2008 report of Henan Province-based Anyang Steel and Iron Co. Ltd, the company achieved a net profit of RMB 579.67 million ($84.62 millon), an increase of 25.8 percent compared with the same period last year.

During the first half of 2008, Anyang Steel produced 3.8069 million mt of iron, 4.5125 million mt of crude steel, and 3.9061 million mt of finished steel, up 1.49 million mt, 1.12 million mt, and 1.1 million mt respectively compared to the corresponding period of 2007.
