Anyang Steel announces ex-factory price cuts

On October 16, Henan Province-based Anyang Steel announced downward adjustments to its ex-factory prices. The details are as follows:

1. Rebar and wire rod:
The prices of rebar and wire rod have been reduced by RMB 292/mt ($43/mt). After the adjustment, HRB 355 18-25 mm costs RMB 4,241/mt ($622/mt), while Q235 18-25 mm rebar stands at RMB 4,259/mt ($624/mt).

2. Sections:

The producer's price has deceased RMB 351/mt ($51/mt). As a result, Q235 50 x 5 mm angles cost RMB 4,352/mt ($638/mt), with the price of Q235 #6.3-10 channels at RMB 4,305/mt ($631/mt).

3. Medium plate:

The price of medium plate has gone down by RMB 351/mt ($51/mt), and so Q235 14-25 mm now costs RMB 5,031/mt ($738/mt).

The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of October 16.
