Ansteel develops production of 5,197 mm plate for shipbuilding Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Ansteel) has announced that it has successfully developed production of 5,197 mm steel plate at its 5,500 mm plate production line at its Yingkou Bayuquan steelworks. The new product will be applied in shipbuilding and is expected to improve structural performance.
