Anshan Steel inks cooperation deal with US-based ISSI

Liaoning Province-based major Chinese steelmaker Anshan Iron and Steel Group (Anshan Steel) has announced that it has inked a cooperation agreement with the US-based steel service company International Steel Services, Inc (ISSI).
 
According to the agreement, the two companies will establish an 85:15 joint venture named Angang Ferric Oxide Co. which will rebuild the acid regeneration plant at the cold rolling facilities of Anshan Steel, in order to improve the quality of ferric oxide.
