Amurmetall starts assembly production of line pipes

The Russian steel producer Amurmetall has announced the commissioning of assembly production of water and gas line pipes. The first batch of the products in question in 57 mm x 3.5 mm, 76 mm x 3.5 mm and 76 mm x 3 mm sizes was produced under a contract concluded with clients from the Far East region of Russia.

The new pipe rolling mill RS 90 4.0-180 was supplied by Austrian equipment producer VAI Seuthe, a part of the Siemens VAI family. The new mill's designed annual production capacity totals 60,000 mt.
