AD/CVD duties to remain in force for US imports of rectangular tubing

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination Friday in the sunset review of the antidumping orders on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China, Korea, Mexico, and Turkey and the countervailing duty order on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China.

The ITC made an affirmative determination that revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce had likewise made affirmative determinations in its sunset reviews of these orders, the AD and CVD orders on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China, Korea, Mexico, and Turkey will remain in force for a further period of five years.
